Public Relations + Marketing + Community Engagement

Event Management + Supervisory and Leadership Roles

Hi, I'm Quynh Trinh, a graduate of Western Washington University with a BA in Public Relations and a strong focus on Equity and Social Justice. My journey in the professional world has been deeply influenced by my commitment to community and the value I place on inclusivity. I have been published in student publications, Klipsun Magazine and The Western Front.

With a diverse skill set that includes Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, email marketing with Wix, and web design, I've been actively involved in the nonprofit sector since 2016. My professional goals revolve around empowering and connecting communities through events and providing the support they need. In the long run, I aspire to own a small storefront, but for now, I'm dedicated to helping my local pool achieve its goal of adding a recreational center and implementing a comprehensive training system.

Community is at the core of my work, driven by my own experiences of family separation. I believe in the importance of fun, community love, and a strong work ethic, but I also value working smarter, not harder. I'm known for my resourcefulness, and I enjoy the beauty of challenges.

My previous industry involvement includes volunteering for blood drives with Bloodworks Northwest and actively participating in my university's Vietnamese Student Association. My work experience includes roles at Evergreen Aquatic Center, White Center Community Development Associaton, and Tet in Seattle.

Leadership is a part of my DNA. In high school, I led the South East Asian Pacific Islander club, and during my college years, I played key roles in the Vietnamese Student Association, the Khmer Student Association, and supported various ethnic clubs. I believe in cross-collaboration, and understanding that personal growth means getting uncomfortable.

Diversity and inclusivity are central to everything I do. I strive to uplift and empower the BIPOC community. Outside of my professional life, I find joy in puzzles and games, such as building spaces in The Sims 4. I'm also passionate about thrifting and fashion, exploring new cultural cuisines, and capturing the beauty of my world.
